April & Oliver’s wedding!
These two made it official at St. Columb Minor church which by the way is beautiful inside and out, lovely light inside which makes my job so much easier, followed by their amazing Marquee reception at Bre Pen Farm. Bre Pen farm is situated right on the cliffs so you can imagine the Atlantic rugged backdrop is just a dream.
April and the girls got ready at The Scarlet Hotel which is also another gem in Cornwall and if you are looking for place to get eloped or have a small wedding near Newquay you need to check it out! I can’t rate it highly enough.
Every couple including myself of course wants beautiful weather on their wedding day, although we had a bit of a mixed bag with the odd drizzle here and there it was pretty much dry which was awesome.
It wasn’t until the evening the rain decided to absolutely lash it down just as we were grabbing some of those intimate cliff top pics. It’s not often I fear for my gear getting swamped with water but also super concerned that these two were going to be drenched! as you can see from the results we nailed some gorgeous last light moody shots. Which btw April & Oliver tell me it was definitely worth it:)
April & Oli - thank you so much, it’s couples like yourself that make me realise I have the best job in the world.
